| Citizens who believe
they have an impaired driver are encouraged to phone the police and: - State they are following or have seen an impaired driver; - State the location of the vehicle and the direction of travel; - Vehicle description: 1) Licence Plate Number; 2) Colour, Make and Model of the vehicle and Description of driver. The police are then armed with information that will help locate and stop the offender before he/she can harm himself/herself or others. Reach the POLICE by dialing one of the following numbers: - 9-1-1 (available in many regions) - 1-888-310-1122 (Good anywhere in Ontario) - Service for the Deaf (TDD/TTY) - 1-888-310-1133 - Cell Phone - *OPP (*677) |
